I laid out all the floss on the dining room table and sorted it by value, 1-10. I pulled out the bright white and the blue-black, leaving a white this is slightly creamy and a black that has a touch of brown.
The turquoise is surprising. I would not have guessed that it would read as dark as it does.
I’m still working on shading the pattern to see where I want the lights and darks to fall.
